The sexiest thing in this picture is how the man is turned away from his top and how she has unbuttoned his shirt and pants in order to fondle his genitals. Seeing dominant women enjoying touching their partners in this way is frustratingly rare in erotic images, yet it’s precisely sexual touch of this sort that I find intensely arousing as a submissive man.

I don’t know whether the vintage look-and-feel of this drawing is intentional, but I like that it’s there. Also, the woman is dressed somewhat more casually than is typical for male submissive, female dominant imagery of this kind, which gives it another bonus point.

Derek Isme sent in this photograph. He writes, “It’s quite a good picture (composition, lighting, attractive guy, etc.) and certainly a whole lot better than the standard porn shot. I especially like how the use of light focuses the viewer’s attention on the upper body and face of the boy tied to the wood cross.”

In addition to the use of lighting, I’m also fond of the fact that there isn’t much telling us that the man kneeling in front of the bound man is dominant. He may not be, and perhaps these are two submissive men playing with one another at the behest of the (dominant?) photographer. It strikes me that, seen in this light, I can easily imagine myself in either position feeling equally submissive.

What a wonderful thing it is that I can submit a picture like this and say, “Based on a true story.” :P The original image is tiny; about 4 inches tall, at most. I make stuff like this when I can’t sleep. 

I find this artist’s style unique and engaging thanks to a few fantastic details, such as the curling of the submissive man’s toes and fingers in this picture. I also like the subtle expressions of sheer fun evident on the top’s face, which are clearly a sort of fun the artist personally recognizes, based on the copious amounts of male submission evident in the rest of Frog’s own work.

This is a great drawing by Froggie. The setting is an interesting one; what’s this man doing kneeling in a cave? The mind races. I also like the fact that he is drawn simply and without fanfare, supermodel looks, or some kind of overdone fantastical gear in an attempt to explain the strange surroundings. This makes me wonder if the setting isn’t just his own fantasy, and in reality this is a picture of a man playing in his own apartment, but envisioning himself in a dark cave. After all, gear is always secondary to an immersive fantasy.

Two men have vigorous doggy style anal sex on the floor. The penetrating partner is also the submissive one, wearing a collar and leash and wrist cuffs.

This anime-style drawing caught my eye instantly because it’s not what you typically see depicted in pictures of sex; here, the receptive partner is (ostensibly) the dominant one, holding the chain leash of his submissive, penetrating partner, who’s above him. This is beautiful and wonderful because it makes obvious the fact that penetrating is not the same as dominating. Furthermore, I like the slight build of the dominant partner, his clearly traditional feminine traits such as the long dyed hair and stockings, and the contrast of the traditionally masculine build of the submissive partner. Combined, these two things challenge plenty of assumptions about what is okay or not okay for men to be, to want, and to do.

This photograph, suggested by Steffi, has a certain austereness to it that I can enjoy. Playing in a strict or severe manner can be a lot of fun, and great inspiration for fantasies of all stripes, unless you take such play too seriously. When I play that way, it’s important to remember that the scene is still a form of play in the fullest sense of the word.

The artist of this picture is Froggie. I really like the artistic style and I also adore the creativity with regard to the sex act of using one’s tail as a sort of third hand—assuming one has a tail, as this devil-man does, of course. Oh, the things I could do with a tail….

Kneeling near a dog bowl, a naked man whose arms are tied behind his back is on the floor on his knees.

This sketch resonates very strongly with me for two reasons. First, I love the way the man’s feet are drawn, closest together at the toes. For many people, myself included, this is a classic feeling of littleness represented in body language. Second, I love that the dog bowl he is kneeling near has the words “Good Boy” inscribed on it. In so many ways, these two simple words are so much more powerful than so many others, even—in some ways—the much more famous three-word phrase, “I love you.” (Also, is that a pet tag on the boy’s collar? And even more also, is that a foot on his head? SO HOT!)

Eileen and I will have to take a short break from updating this site because this week we are moving across the planet from Sydney to New York City (but please keep suggesting new material for us to post in the meantime). On Sunday, March 8th, we are helping to run the first-ever KinkForAll event, a massive personal undertaking supported by a network of dozens upon dozens of fantastic participatory individuals, including you—if you want to be a part of it.

KinkForAll is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people of the kink, queer, sex-positive and related communities to share and learn in an open environment. I like the differences in their relative sizes; not all men are hulking things, and not all women are petite and fragile. Moreover, although I suspect this is a personal preference, I tend to really enjoy being with physically larger women than I am. (Then again, I am also a relatively small man.) There doesn’t seem to be any discernible pattern between one’s physical size and their sexual predilections, but it does sometimes play a part in one’s preferences and can therefore be capitalized on in play.
