This is a suggestion from sophie, who observes that “the veil is an interesting role reversal.” Indeed, it’s typically women who are veiled in most cultures, and the requirement to be covered so has some powerful social implications. Along with this, sophie also mentions, “lov[ing] the colours…and the ‘armour’ thing on his arm makes me think something particularly painful is going to happen to him.”
That’s certainly intriguing, isn’t it?
