Under streams of water, a muscular bald man kneels with his face at his partner’s crotch. His top holds his head there and wields a small flogger onto his back.
I’m most enthralled by the androgyny of the dominant partner in this picture. For all that is said of masculinity and femininity’s opposites, nothing so precisely captures humanity on any scale?individual or otherwise?as various combinations of the two. I also like the slight red hues visible on the skin of the man’s back that suggests this flogger has actually seen some use.
Speaking of, that flogger looks like a leather one to me, in which case I sincerely hope it wasn’t expensive because it’s not going to live very long if they keep using it in the shower. Thanks are due to Derek Isme for sending this great photograph to us.
