A kneeling dominant man pulls the hair of a bottom whose wrists are tied above and behind him. Both men are naked, and the top is crouching in front of the bottom’s genitals.
This is a gorgeous picture suggested by Derek Isme. Without doubt, the most compelling part of this picture is, as Derek notes, that “[t]his time the dominant man has taken hold of the other guy’s head (or, maybe, his hair) and is pulling him down, the better—it seems—to perform fellatio on him.” Dominantly-given blowjobs are really not something you hear about very often, which I think is truly a shame.
This photograph therefore is not only beautiful and sexy, but also thought-provoking: why is fellatio so often considered a submissive act? What makes oral sex, or any kind of sex for that matter, submissive or dominant or neither? Despite what many people think, even in alternative sexuality subcultures these are not questions that are asked often enough. Sadly, the lack of such questioning can leave even those of us who consider ourselves the most tolerant open to repeating all the old prejudices in entirely new ways.
